SIN OUT OF CONTROL

We see states and countries giving same-sex couples the same rights as married couples.

We see newspapers publishing announcements and pictures of same-sex unions, as if it were something that was completely natural and normal to do.

We see homosexuals and homosexual groups challenging laws that define marriage as being between one man and one woman, as God Himself has established it.

We see homosexuals trying to destroy Bible-believing, God-fearing churches because they teach Biblical truths concerning homosexuality and what it really stands for.

We see homosexuals trying to force all non-homosexuals to accept them and their ungodly lifestyle.

We see homosexuals trying to sugarcoat their sin and sinful ways by referring to themselves as gay, special, talented, gifted, etc.

We see churches licensing and ordaining openly homosexual ministers.

We see that anyone who questions or criticizes the homosexual lifestyle or way of life, is instantly labeled as being homophobic. Yet these people openly attack normal people and those who are "straight."

First it was, "we just want to be left alone." Then it was, "we want the same rights as everyone else." Now it's, "We want more rights than anyone else."

The homosexual community takes Scripture, God's holy and inspired Words found only in the Bible, that pertains to the sin and abomination of homosexuality and twist and pervert what is said and claim they actually say nothing negative concerning homosexuality. Contrary to their claims, the Bible clearly says:

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.
(Leviticus 18:22)

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
(Leviticus 20:13)

The amazing thing is that many of these homosexuals do not believe in the Bible or in God, yet they quickly quote Luke 6:37 which says, "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven", whenever a Christian speaks out against their abominable sin. The truth of the matter is, when you stand up and speak out against something that is wrong and evil you are not judging. We are merely pronouncing what God Himself has already judged. The verses they so often quote about judging, are actually talking about hypocritical and unrighteous judging. Again this just goes to show how these people will twist Scripture to fit their own needs. These sinners, as with all sinners, will stop at nothing to silence those speaking against them and the abomination they are committing.

One of the main reasons that this sin is increasing and running so rampant is due to many individuals and churches that do not take a bold and public stand against this sin. They are too concerned with their image, being politically correct, and not wanting to take sides. Many will claim that this is too controversial of an issue to get involved in. When asked directly on where they stand against this or other concerns, they will give a wishy washy or watered down answer that really doesn't say where they stand one way or the other.

This is contrary to what God wants the Church to do. The Church is to stand up against all sin, including homosexuality. It does not matter if something is controversial or not. Sin is sin, and as such it is wrong.

When an individual or a Church doesn't take a stand against sin and evil, then this is the same thing as condoning the sin. This leads to making exceptions and compromises in the beliefs and teachings of the Church, something that God and His Word clearly speak against the Church doing.

As for a church being politically correct and wanting to protect its image, the church needs to remember that we are not of this world and are not to be concerned with what the world thinks of us. Because we choose to follow God and His teachings, and because we choose to stand against sin and the ways of the world, the world is naturally going to hate us. The Bible tells us that:

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
(John 15:18)

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
(John 3:20)

The Church should not be concerned about what the world says or thinks about it. The Church is not here to please the world. The Church is here to please God and do His will and follow His teachings and ways, and then to go boldly forward and teach them to those in the world who do not know His truths. Following and pleasing God should be the number one concern of the Church above all else. If the world hates us for it, so what?

If we are to please God, then we must follow His ways and His teachings. We must share these truths with those around us. We must take a firm, bold, and public stand against sin, all sin. Anything less, then we are following the world and not following God.

Remember, we are here to follow God and not the world. We are here to please God and not the world. Don't allow compromise and exception to come into the Church under the guise of "tolerance." All this tolerance is that they scream they want is in reality, turning a blind eye on the Word of God and allowing of compromise to come in.

By doing so then we open the door for the vile and evil ways of the world and the sinners to quietly come in and destroy the Church. We must stand firm and stand tall. Don't give in to the ways of the world. Follow the Word of God and put the Word of God above all else. The Bible tell us:

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31

The more the enemies of God attack us for teaching His Word, the firmer we must stand in God's love and know that He is the one who is in control. We must acknowledge Him in all things and trust Him to watch over and protect us. The Bible tells us to:

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6

May the Lord give you the strength and courage to stand up against and resist evil in all its forms and give you the wisdom to see evil for what it really is, an attack and rebellion on God Himself.
