It is that time of year again. The time that those of us who are Christians celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! The world has twisted the meaning of the special and sacred time into something that has no resemblance to the truth whatsoever. There are many who have no idea as to what this season is all about or its importance to everyone.

Christianity is unique, not only in being and teaching the One and Only way to eternal salvation, but it is the only one in which is taught that the truth, that the Creator Himself took on human form and lived among us and died in our place upon the cross so we may have eternal life through Him. No other belief system or religion on the planet has ever made that claim, nor can it ever sincerely make that claim. Which makes us even more unique.

The Word of God tells us, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." – Ephesians 2:8-9

Despite the above verse, many churches and institutions make salvation seem so complicated and difficult to obtain. They require membership in a specific church, regular and mediatory church attendance, participation in certain rites and rituals and many other things. None of these were ever spoken of by Christ or are found anywhere in the Bible. In John 3:16 the Bible tells us all that is required for salvation:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The Bible does not say we must know about the truth or to have simply have heard of the truth. It does not say we must have read the truth. It says we must believe. This one word sums it all up, Believeth. Nothing else is required or acceptable. We must believe and without that belief we are condemned. No amount of works, going to church or anything else will do. We MUST believe. Nothing can be clearer or simpler.

God does not make it difficult for us to be saved and come to Him. It is man that makes it complicated and difficult. The ways of man and the world want us to think that what the Bible clearly teaches is too easy and that much more must be required that just belief. They want to complicate it and make it seems extremely difficult to obtain what God has for us. This is their way of exerting a type of control over us for their own desires and goals. This is NOT what God has intended for us.

The world looks at us and laughs and make jokes. If Christ had listened to the opinion of the world, then all of us would be dead in our sins with no hope of salvation in sight. Christ did His duty. Now we must in turn do ours.

We mist equip ourselves with the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and go forth boldly and proclaim to the world the absolute truth and facts that the Bible teaches us, and do as Christ Himself has commanded us:

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" – Matthew 28:19

HAVE A BLESSED RESURRECTION REMEMBRANCE DAY!
