The world has trivialized the Resurrection of Christ as if it is no big deal, and replaced it with paganized practices and false teachings. They see Christ as just a minute part of this season. They come out with movies which they claim are the only accurate account of the death and resurrection of Christ, but every single one of them falls short of their promise. All of them are guilty of taking Scripture and twisting it for their own gains. The Bible and the Bible alone has the only true account and does not water down the historic and factual account of both Christ’s death and Resurrection. The teachings found in the Scriptures must never be watered down or taken out of context. We must stand up to what the world calls being “politically correct,” which is nothing more than sugar-coating sin and taking away what the Word of God says concerning it.

The world needs to hear the truth concerning sin and the eternal punishment which results from sin. They need to hear the one and only TRUE account of the Death and Resurrection of Christ. They must be told that without Christ they will be condemned of their sins and spend eternity in hell. They must be told that the one and only way to TRUE salvation and eternal life is through Christ.

Even though the world continually rejects Christ and His Words, we are under direct command by Christ Himself to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” (Matthew 28:19).

Many will say that they tried to share the Word of God but were rejected, ridiculed, called names, and even threatened. That has no bearing on anything. Christ has told us to go out into the world and share the Gospel, no matter what those who are lost in their sin may think or say. Christ has told us that the non-believers would even react in this manner to hearing the truth, and that He went through the same persecution. “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” (John 15:18) and “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 10:22).

From even before its beginnings, the Christian Church has been under attack. John the Baptizer was constantly under attack and persecution for announcing the coming of the Messiah (Christ), and was eventually murdered for his testimony. Shortly after the birth of Christ King Herod falsely told the wise men he wanted them to let him know where the Christ Child was so he could worship Him with them. Of course they knew this was a lie for he planned on murdering the child, so they left without a word to him. He showed his true colors when he had every child of the age of 2 and under slaughtered, not realizing that Mary and Joseph already took the Christ Child out of his reach and into safety.

Throughout His ministry here on earth, there were those who persecuted and sought to kill Christ. When the time was right, as God had planned it, Christ was crucified on the cross for our sins. Evil rejoiced at first, until it realized what had happened with the death of Christ. Three days later Christ rose from the dead as was promised in Scripture.

And so it has gone on through the centuries. Many Christians and defenders of the Christian faith have been sought after and murdered for their testimony in Christ. The forces of Satan and his followers have constantly attacked Christianity and Christians. Doing anything and everything they can to silence the message of the Cross and of Christ, but never succeeding. No matter how hard they try, they will never be able to remove the presence of the Church or the People of God. “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18).

So it continues. We see the attack against Christianity and all it represents being ridiculed and belittled. We see Holy Days being trivialized and their truth being covered up with false teachings and lies. We see symbols that were once considered Holy being replaced with pagan symbols and no one seems to be noticing it. Resurrection Day, which is in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, has been replaced with “Easter.” The cross has been replaced by the Easter Bunny and candy eggs and other tasty treats, none of which have any bearing of the truth on this Holy and Sacred Day.

Even the mere mentioning of this Holy Day brings dirty looks. Because of “political correctness” it is not considered wise to mention the Resurrection Remembrance Day because it may offend others. So What? If they are offended, then they can just deal with it. It seems as if the Christians are the ONLY ones that are expected to change what we worship and say so that we offend no one. Well what about offending us by this so-called fake “tolerance” for others and what they believe? This has nothing to do with tolerance or offending others. It is yet another one of Satan’s ploys to silence Christian truth and Christian teaching.

The world lashes out at those who preach the Word of God. They are scared of what the Bible has to say because they know it condemns them of their great and evil sin. They have allowed same-sex relationships and now same-sex marriage. Anyone who questions or opposes it are accused of being closed-minded and promoting hate. Those who have rejected God and have endorsed the form of mass murder and serial killing known as abortion, constantly accuse those who stand up against it of ignorant of medical science and advances, and told to shut up and mind their own business. To God, all life sacred and special. No one has the right to terminate a life. If someone is pregnant and does not want it, there are many health options to choose from, none of which include the murder of the unborn.

The Last Days are rapidly approaching. We see the forces of evil, who at one time thought they silenced God by killing His Son, stepping up their attack against God and His children. What they do not realize is that the more they attack and ridicule us for spreading God’s Word, the more bolder we become. We cannot and must not step down in taking a stand against evil and calling evil for what it is, sin and rebellion against God.

Christ was crucified and rose from the dead for us. Let us not make what Christ did for us meaningless. We must continue to follow His example and continue in our walk with Him and speak His truths whenever we can. We must stand against evil and have no part of it. We must never compromise on the Words of Christ or on Biblical teaching and principle. We must strive forward to the best of our ability so that on the Day of Judgment we hear those words that are so full of promise:

…Well done, thou good and faithful servant…enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:21)
